Avanti Rentals ("Avanti," "we," "us") rents vehicles to gig-economy drivers in King and Pierce County, Washington. This page explains what information we collect through driveavanti.com, how we use and protect it, and the terms that apply to using this website. 1. Information we collect
- Application information — when you apply to rent, we collect your name, phone number, email, home address, driver's license number and photos of your driver's license (front and back), age range, insurance details, gig-platform approvals, and your requested rental dates.
- Waitlist information — name, phone, email, preferred vehicle and start date, and insurance status.
- Rental records — if you rent with us: your signed rental agreement, payment history, vehicle condition photos, mileage records, and messages we exchange with you (email and SMS).
- Technical basics — our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and standard web logs to serve and secure the site. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell ads.
2. How we use it
- To review your application and verify you're eligible to rent (valid license, gig-platform approval, driving record).
- To manage an active rental: scheduling, payment tracking and reminders, maintenance coordination, and vehicle recovery when required.
- To contact you about your application, waitlist spot, or rental — by phone, email, or text. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of SMS.
- To meet legal, tax, and insurance obligations that apply to a Washington rental car business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
3. Where it lives and who can see it
Your information is stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud, U.S. servers) and transmitted over HTTPS. Access is limited to the owner and authorized staff who need it to run the business. Driver's-license photos and signed documents are kept in access-controlled storage that requires staff sign-in.
We use a small number of service providers to operate: Google Firebase (data storage), Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (text messages). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. We may also disclose information when the law requires it — for example a subpoena, or reporting obligations tied to an accident or insurance claim.
4. How long we keep it
- Applications that don't become rentals — kept while your application or waitlist spot is active, so we can reach you when a vehicle opens up. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Rental records — kept for the duration of the rental relationship and afterward as required for tax, insurance, and legal purposes (typically up to seven years for financial records).
5. Your choices
- Ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where the law doesn't require us to keep it): email [email protected].
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP; opt out of non-essential email by replying "unsubscribe."
- If we ever experience a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by Washington's breach-notification law (RCW 19.255).
6. SMS / text messaging program
- Program description: Avanti Rentals sends account-related text messages from (206) 487-1885 to customers and applicants who opt in — payment reminders, toll notifications, rental agreement signature links, pickup/return coordination, and replies to your questions.
- Opt-in: you consent by checking the SMS consent box on our rental application, or by agreeing to text communications in your signed rental agreement. Consent is not a condition of renting.
- Message frequency varies — typically 1–3 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
- Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call/text (206) 487-1885.
- No third-party marketing: your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data will not be shared with any third parties, except with our messaging service provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the messages.
7. Website terms of use
- This website is for people 18 or older seeking to rent a vehicle. Submitting an application must be done truthfully — providing false identity or license information is grounds for denial or termination.
- Content on this site (text, images, branding) belongs to Avanti Rentals and may not be reused commercially without permission.
- The site is provided as-is. Renting a vehicle is governed by the written rental agreement you sign — not by this website. If anything here conflicts with your signed rental agreement, the agreement controls.
- These terms and this policy are governed by Washington law. We may update this page from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision.
